Listen to me!!

based on what I have learned about Marc, his musical tastes could be very broad. I feel that he would enjoy classic rock songs the most since they generally about telling a story. I don’t feel that Marc would enjoy contemporary music like hip hup, even though I think he is a good dancer. Based on Marc’s educational background in english literature, I believe he would enjoy songs that are a ballad. Marc’s favorite bands would be the range from Rolling Stones to Frank Sinatra and Marvin Gaye. The following five songs are the ones I listened to and feel it would fit in Marc's taste.

1) Fortunate Son by Creedence Clearwater Revival
This song is about the thoughts of a young man who is being drafted. This song is among one of the greatest songs in history and I believe that Marc enjoy appreciating its meaning.

2) Copperhead Road by Steve Earl
This is about a family who ran moonshine and about the loss of a member. The son inherits the family business and learns new techniques from his time in Vietnam to avoid getting caught running his moonshine. This is a badass song and I think Marc feeling in it.

3) Hey Jude by The Beatles
Hey Jude is a classic song by the Beatles. It was written by Paul McCartney to comfort John Lennon’s son during his divorce. This was when Yoko ruined everything. I think its good to listen to relax from unhappy incidents.

4) Like a Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan
This song is probably one of the greatest songs in rock history. It can mean a lot of different things, depending on how the listener perceives it. I read it is about how people can be stilted in how they view others. Marc's teaching style is so innovative that he highly respect every student and I already started to like him.

5) Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen
Because of Marc’s father's influence in opera, I’m sure Marc can tell some the meaning behind the opera. This song is about a guy who commits a crime and he realizes that he will have to pay for his sins. This song is emotional and I guess Marc can walk through it by his literary studying background. By the way, Marc has published his own books!!!wow!!

One song, I think Marc enjoys but his wife won’t let him listen to is "hey Jude" because its about misfortune in family life. (These are just guessing derived from massive research with assistance of understanding the meaning of songs from a canadian friend)
